Tight End: Jake Butt

The Broncos’ diamond in the rough at tight end is quite obviously Jake Butt.

Butt, a fifth round pick in 2017, is somewhat similar to the Broncos adding an extra second round draft pick this year.

The former All-American tight end out of Michigan was unable to get back onto the field in 2017 like he wanted to, but the Broncos shutting him down in a lost season wasn’t the worst thing in the world.

Hopefully at 100 percent this offseason, it would not surprise me to see Butt become the Broncos’ top tight end before too long, especially with Virgil Green expected to hit unrestricted free agency.
