Cleveland Browns

The Cleveland Browns selling themselves to a top free agent quarterback?

It may not be as crazy as you think, but I also don’t view the Browns as a top three option for Cousins.

Cousins has proven over the past few years that he can play — actually really well — in the elements, something that would be essential in the NFC North. But choosing to play almost half the season in this kind of weather when he has the option of doing otherwise doesn’t make much sense to me.

The Browns do have a very interesting young supporting cast, two top five draft picks, and over $100 million in cap space.

Everything is in place for the Browns to make an attractive pitch to Cousins, but ultimately, I think he’ll say ‘Thanks, but no thanks.’
