The future of starter is still unsure for Devontae Booker. This makes Carlos Hyde another intriguing choice in the backfield in Denver. Hyde has been inconsistent with the San Francisco 49ers, but he itched closer in back-to-back seasons of getting 1,000-yards. Hyde is a dynamic runner when the lights turn on.

Jimmy Garappolo starting next year might entice Hyde to stay with the 49ers. However, due to a rich running back draft class, Hyde might be best served getting a change of scenery. Hyde has value in the backfield as a receiver also. He is not like Le’Veon Bell, but with a new quarterback it gives the Denver Broncos a great two way running back as a possible starter.

Hyde has a interesting case due to want a multi year deal. He can sign a two to three year deal with not nearly enough money as Le’Veon Bell. Hyde is a possible huge boom if he signs with the Broncos and the offensive line is upgraded. Also, it fills a need before the draft and the Broncos can pick best player available in any round.
