There is no doubt that the Denver Broncos will need a quarterback in 2018. What options are available via free agency? I take a look at some choices.

It was clear in 2017 that the Denver Broncos did not have an answer at the quarterback position. 2016 saw Peyton Manning retire from the league and Brock Osweiler leave for the Houston Texans. Going into the offseason that year, Trevor Siemian was the only quarterback left.

Since that time the Denver Broncos have traded for Mark Sanchez, drafted Paxton Lynch and Chad Kelly, signed Austin Davis, and brought back Brock Osweiler.

2017 showed that perhaps the potential franchise quarterback for the Denver Broncos is not on the roster. In fact, there is a good chance that neither of the three quarterbacks return when free agency begins.

There is a lot of talent in the draft with Baker Mayfield, Josh Rosen, Josh Allen, and others. What if the Denver Broncos made a move to get a veteran or made a big free agency splash and got a big name that can propel the team to a Super Bowl title in 2018?

Yes, the Denver Broncos are no strangers to landing a big name in free agency. They have not done so recently, so perhaps this could be the year. With that said, I will look at the options the Denver Broncos have at quarterback in the free agent market.
