The Denver Broncos have begun the process of their new staff as they have added three members on the offensive side of the ball to their coaching staff.

On Monday, the Denver Broncos started the search for new position coaches. On Wednesday, the Broncos hired former UTEP head coach Sean Kugler to coach the offensive line. Thursday saw two more coaches added. Mike Sullivan and Curtis Modkins to be in charge of the quarterbacks and running backs respectfully.

Mike Sullivan was the offensive coordinator for the New York Giants last season. With the firing of Ben McAdoo, who was considered for the quarterback’s coach position, Sullivan was allowed to look for another job. Curtis Modkins was the Chicago Bears running backs coach last year. His head coach was also fired this offseason.

Sullivan helped Eli Manning during his time as the quarterback coach for the 2010 and 2011 season. As we all know, the Giants won Super Bowl 46 during the 2011 season. So, I believe Sullivan could be a solid addition to the coaching staff.

Curtis Modkins helped the Chicago Bears running backs, ranking in the top half of the league. He worked with Jordan Howard, who ran over 1,000 yards rushing this season.

Sean Kugler was the offensive line coach when the Pittsburgh Steelers reached their last Super Bowl in his first season with the team. He has been in college football for a few years. It will be interesting how he does in his first NFL job since then.

With three jobs filled, the only coaching jobs left are the wide receiver, outside linebacker, assistant defensive back, and special teams coordinator. Klint Kubiak will have a different role with Denver in 2018.
