Who’s the Broncos QB Sunday? Your guess is as good as mine, although everyone lusts after Week 16’s opposing QB, Kirk Cousins.

The Denver Broncos face the Washington Redskins Sunday with uncertainty at QB. Even now, just hours before kickoff, head coach Vance Joseph did not reveal who the QB shall be. Because of his injury against the Colts December 14, Trevor Siemian is not an option.

For this, Broncos Country can be truly grateful. If nothing else, Broncos fans lust after Redskins QB Kirk Cousins. In speaking with Denver media this week, Cousins adroitly dodged questions about coming to Denver. Still, the desires for him to come are at an unreal level. He is truly what Broncos fans want for Christmas.

Cousins has passed for 3,636 yards this season. The Broncos’ three QB’s on the season, Siemian, Brock Osweiler and Paxton Lynch, have combined for 3,221 yards. Either Osweiler or Lynch will get the call Sunday. My advice is to follow all the Twitter scuttlebutt. Here is the injury report.

On Redskins Twitter, the consensus seems to be that Samaje Perine will be a go for Sunday. He is a strong tailback who has run for a team-best 547 yards and a touchdown on the season. The Redskins have many talented players who can potentially give the Broncos’ defense trouble.

WR Jamison Crowder (59 rec, 717 yards, 2 TD’s) is the only consistent target on the film though. WR Josh Doctson has a world of talent but has been wildly inconsistent. If the Broncos can capture what they started against the Jets in Week 14, the game should go well.

Star Washington meteorologist Lauryn Ricketts of WTOP-FM and WRC-TV Channel 4 in Washington has the forecast.

As you can see, the weather remains unsettled for this tilt. The Redskins are 3.5-point favorites and the Broncos seek their first win on the road in series since 1998. As was the case last week, I don’t really have any expectations for the Broncos. It’s always more fun to win than lose. Therefore, let’s have a Merry Christmas with the Broncos winning another game.

As always, this is your game thread. If any Redskins fans happen upon us, treat them kindly, the Broncos’ way. GO BRONCOS!!!
