It is very rare to see the Denver Broncos take a long time to decide on a starting quarterback. All signs are pointing towards Brock Osweiler for Sunday.

Brock Osweiler came off the bench last Thursday against the Indianapolis Colts and led the Broncos to a win. All week, Broncos Country was waiting to hear from Vance Joseph on who would start between Osweiler and Paxton Lynch.

The week went by and Vance Joseph still did not tell the media who would start. We are approaching kickoff in less than 24 hours and we still did not know who would start. However, the rumor appears to be getting more and more true by the hour.

Adam Schefter reports that the Broncos will likely be going with Brock Osweiler on Sunday against the Washington Redskins. After watching his performance, this comes as no surprise.

There was a chance that if Paxton Lynch logged a full week of practice, he could get the start. However, he was limited on Wednesday and Thursday. His first full practice came on Friday. The general thought is that he is almost there. However, ankles can be tricky to deal with. It will impact his mobility. So, the move could be just to have Lynch serve as the backup. If something were to happen to Osweiler, Lynch could step in.

Paxton Lynch will likely start the season finale against the Kansas City Chiefs if he can go. Which he is close. But for now, we Brock ‘N’ Roll. If Osweiler can provide the same performance he had last Thursday, he should be okay.

Focus on the run game and limit the mistakes. With that said, Osweiler will attempt to win his first start of the season and give Denver their sixth win. It won’t be an easy task, but anything can happen on Sunday’s.
