The Denver Broncos lead the New York Jets 13-0 at the half. However, due to the Buffalo Bills win earlier, Denver has been eliminated from the playoffs.
Who would have thought the Denver Broncos would have a double digit halftime lead? They currently lead the Jets 13-0 at the half. However, the Buffalo Bills won their game against the Indianapolis Colts earlier today. Because of that, Denver is eliminated from the playoffs.
It is a shame that the Broncos will be on the couches in January. There is always next season.
With that out of the way, letโs take a look at how the Denver Broncos have performed. The Broncos jumped out to a 3-0 lead thanks to a Brandon McManus field goal. The Broncos defense would get right to work as they forced a fumble that was recovered. A Trevor Siemian touchdown pass to Demaryius Thomas would give the Broncos a 10-0 lead at the end of the half.
The only negative part to happen in that half was an easy chip shot 29 yard field goal by Brandon McManus. However, McManus would redeem himself with a long field goal to give the Broncos a 13-0 lead.
If the Denver Broncos can keep this up, they can finally end this eight game losing streak. The player that has impressed me the most this game has been Shelby Harris. Filling in for Domata Peko Sr., Harris has shown what he can do.
Next: Bradley Roby is the future for the Broncos
Perhaps the Denver Broncos should look at bringing Shelby Harris back. With so many inconsistencies. it would be nice to have a sure thing back on the Broncos in 2018.
The New York Jets will receive to start the second half. Just 30 more minutes Broncos Country and we have our fourth win of the season. Letโs go Broncos! Beat the New York Jets!
