The Denver Broncos return home from a two game road trip to take on the New York Jets. We preview the Week 14 matchup here.

Not all is lost Broncos Country. The Denver Broncos can still make the playoffs. But it takes quite the scenario and everything has to happen exactly in order for it to happen. If you want to see the futuristic universe where Denver can reach the postseason, just click here.

However, the team should focus on one game at a time. And that starts with the New York Jets. When the season first started, a lot believed that the Jets were going to be the ones that would be getting a top pick in the draft. Yet here they come to Denver at 5-7.

It is pretty crazy how things can change after three seasons. The last time these two teams faced off was in 2014. I was at that game and it was a fun time. Denver would use a late Aqib Talib pick six to secure the 31-17 win.

Now Peyton Manning and Demarcus Ware are no longer on the team. Geno Smith was the starting quarterback for the Jets. My how times have changed.

Without further ado, let’s get right into this game between the Denver Broncos and New York Jets.

Prediction

I am not one that wants to embrace the tank. Until there is no possible way the Denver Broncos can make the playoffs, I will hold on to whatever hope I have. Although it is very faint. With that being said, this is a winnable game. It will come down to if the Broncos show up.

If they want to stay on the roster or keep their jobs, then perhaps start by winning this game. Which I believe that they can. In order to do that, they must force the mistakes by McCown. And play smart football.

I see this being a low scoring game. Brandon McManus kicks the game winner in regulation to end the losing streak.
