The Denver Broncos are on a bye. What is a fan to do without Broncos football? There is one game on today that fans should have their eye on.
We know Broncos Country. We miss our team. I have never been a huge supporter of early byes. In fact, this is the second time in four years the Denver Broncos have been placed with the early bye.
Hopefully, the players will use that time to rest their bodies. From October 15th until New Years Eve, the Broncos will be playing every week. So, I suppose there is a silver lining to it.
However, looking at the slate of Week Five games, not a lot of them jump out to me. If Tampa Bay had pulled off the win against the New England Patriots, that would have my attention ten out of ten times.
However, for those that do not know, New England held them off for a 19-14 win. So, what is the next game that the Denver Broncos fans should have their eye on?
The Los Angeles Chargers vs New York Giants would be an interesting one. Since the Broncos play those two teams in consecutive weeks after the bye, it would be interesting.
However, the game I have my eye on is Kansas City vs. Houston. It is the Sunday Night Football game on tonight.
The Chiefs are undefeated and are facing what could be their toughest test of the year. Houston has surprised a lot of fans this season. With Deshaun Watson, the Texans have looked pretty good. I mean, they almost pulled off the upset over the Patriots a couple weeks back.

If the Texans can beat the Chiefs, it would turn my head around. Especially since both the Chiefs and Broncos will have one loss.
It will be a big battle between the Chiefs offense and Texans defense. With this becoming a huge AFC battle, I would tune in to this game. Keep an eye to see who wins. This early season matchup could shake up the AFC playoffs.
