The Denver Broncos lead the Oakland Raiders 10-7 at the end of the half. I take a look at some key moments from the first half.

Another chapter in the Denver Broncos vs. Oakland Raiders rivalry is halfway over. And the Denver Broncos have looked like the more dominant team so far. Unfortunately for some of the Broncos fans around the country, they missed some of the first quarter.

The game started out with both teams trading three and outs. Max Garcia did not look great and allowed a sack. Luckily, the Broncos defense was able to respond.

On the next drive, the Denver Broncos drove down the field and scored on an acrobatic one handed catch by A.J. Derby for a touchdown.

After the touchdown by A.J. Derby, the game has been about as much as the rivalry between these two teams has been. Although Brandon McManus converted on a field goal. That made the score 10-0.

After the Broncos pinned the Raiders at the one yard line, the Raiders went to work. Darian Stewart got beat for a 64 yard touchdown to bring the game within three points.

What the Denver Broncos need to do in the second half is to do a better job at limiting the offensive line penalties. Ron Leary has been called for quite a bit of penalties.

For some reason, the Denver Broncos have been unable to do much in the second quarter. Not entirely sure what the reason is, but it is something that they need to fix going forward.

Other than that, there is nothing that I have seen go wrong for the most part. The game has gone as I have expected.

The Oakland Raiders will get the football to start the second half. Let’s play some smart football and get the win. Go Broncos.
