The Denver Broncos lead the Dallas Cowboys by a score of 21-10. I take a look and evaluate the first half of the Week Two matchup.

This has been quite an interesting game so far. It has featured some big plays and a weather delay. The game would most likely be nearing the fourth quarter at this point. But due to the delay, we have finally reached half time.

The biggest focus for the Denver Broncos was containing Ezekiel Elliott. And they have done just that. Elliott has only five yards rushing. If they can continue to limit him, it will look really good.

With the lack of help in the secondary due to injuries, Trevor Siemian and the Denver Broncos have taken advantage. Trevor has thrown for three touchdowns. Two of them have gone to Emmanuel Sanders. Speaking of which, Sanders is having quite the game. He has 46 yards receiving.

The Broncos have only made a couple of mistakes. A missed field goal by Brandon McManus hurt the chance to go up 10-0 early. After the weather delay, Menelik Watson got beat badly and Siemian got sacked and lost the football deep in Denver territory.

That would lead to the only touchdown for the Dallas Cowboys as Dak Prescott threw it to Dez Bryant, who beat Aqib Talib.

But the Denver Broncos woke up after that and scored 14 unanswered. A touchdown from C.J. Anderson gave the Broncos the lead back.

The Dallas Cowboys would add on a field goal to make the score 21-10.

One thing that I want to see improvement on is getting help on the right side of the football. Menelik Watson cannot get beat anymore if the Broncos are going to have a successful 30 minutes.

Denver will get the football to start the second half. Let’s keep it rolling Broncos.
