5. Trevor Siemian, Quarterback

I can’t stress enough how critical this performance was for Trevor Siemian.

He had an adjusted completion percentage (adjusted for drops, throwaways, spikes) of 76 percent and threw two touchdown passes, adding a rushing touchdown in the first half as well.

We recapped all of the nice highlights of Siemian’s game HERE.

Siemian looked like a legitimate starting quarterback in the NFL in this game. Was it a perfect performance? No.

But this was a very strong performance from Siemian who clearly has made some significant progressions from a season ago. I came away from this game incredibly impressed by Siemian, and I can only imagine the Broncos are thrilled about what they saw from him as well.

This was a great start for the second-year starter and something to build off of, to be certain.
