In a surprising move, the Denver Broncos will test out Ty Sambrailo at the center position when the team takes on the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday.

When it comes to the offensive line, the biggest quality you can have is playing in multiple positions. For Ty Sambrailo, it could be a big reason as to why he will remain on the final roster.

Vance Joseph announced that the former 2015 second round draft pick will see some snaps at the center position on Thursday when the Denver Broncos take on the Arizona Cardinals. This could be the push Ty Sambraio needs to secure one of the final roster spots for the 2017 season.

With Donald Stephenson taking another paycut to stay with the team, being flexible on the offensive line will be key. If Ty Sambrailo can prove that he can be flexible on the offensive line, chances are he will stick around.

This is a solid move by the Denver Broncos. Not to mention this could really help the team. Matt Paradis is coming back from double hip surgery. Having some solid options behind him will be key. The team saw Connor McGovern have some success at center. If Ty Sambrailo can be successful, the team will be in good shape.

The biggest question now is will he perform well on Thursday? If he can go out on the field and perform like he has in two of the three weeks in preseason, then he will likely make the team. He was named on Pro Football Focus’ team of the week for the second time.

With all of the injuries that have hampered him the last two seasons, it will be important for him to be flexible on the line in order to help the Broncos succeed on offense when he is called upon.

Wishing Ty Sambrailo the best of luck on Thursday.
