Kalif Raymond and Paxton Lynch are among the Denver Broncos Trying To Enhance Their Prospects on the Roster. San Francisco presents a “golden” opportunity…

Fresh off of a 24-17 win over the Chicago Bears August 10, the Denver Broncos search for stability.

In the game at Chicago, the offensive line and kick coverage teams were awful.

However, special teams were not a complete loss because of returner Kalif Raymond.

In fact, my colleagues have high praise for the former Holy Cross star. https://predominantlyorange.com/2017/08/19/denver-broncos-kalif-raymond-will-make-53-man/

Meanwhile, at Chicago, Raymond had two returns netting 75 yards.

His returns were instrumental in the Broncos’ comeback victory at Soldier Field. Here is the secret to his success: http://www.9news.com/sports/nfl/denver-broncos/mike-klis/kalif-raymond-playing-angry-in-attempt-to-win-job/463918232

If Raymond continues to play with such swagger, Predominantly Orange should definitely prove prophetic.

Meanwhile, this is the night for quarterback Paxton Lynch to get the start.

Reports from the Broncos’ joint practices with tonight’s opponent, the San Francisco 49ers, this past week are propitious.

Right now, the best thing Lynch can do is build upon his performance at practice. This is arguably the best chance he has ever had to show Broncos brass what he can do.

Additionally, receivers Cody Latimer and Isaiah McKenzie were bright spots at Chicago. Third-string signal-caller Kyle Sloter (5 of 6, 94 yards, TD) also showed value.

If Sloter cannot catch on with the Broncos, he should at least have a home someplace in the NFL. His pocket presence and ability to set his feet (take notes Lynch) are his greatest assets.

The weather this evening, per this metric from weather.com suggests kickoff will be 71 degrees and sunny.

It does bear mentioning that Levi’s Stadium is the Broncos’ home away from home, having won their last two games there decisively.

This, of course, includes their 24-10 win over the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50.

This is your thread, so use it accordingly. If 49ers fans happen upon us, treat them kindly, the Broncos’ way. GO BRONCOS!!!
