Emmanuel Sanders will look to have another solid year as one of the Denver Broncos top targets in the passing game. How will his stats look this season?

Emmanuel Sanders has been one of the best players for the Denver Broncos since he signed with the team back in 2014. He has recorded three 1,000 yard seasons and has his Super Bowl title. He may not be the tallest receiver, but he is fast.

No matter if he is lined up in the slot or on the outside, Emmanuel Sanders will find his way to get open. He was a reliable target for Peyton Manning in his final two seasons in Denver. That was especially true on third down situations.

Emmanuel Sanders did not record a 1,000 yard season during his time as a Pittsburgh Steeler. But once he got to Denver, he had a breakout year.

Sanders was brought to Denver to help fill the void left by Eric Decker, who the team let walk in free agency. The void was filled rather quickly and surprisingly. Even with Peyton Manning’s retirement, Sanders continued to produce.

Now with a new contract extension under his belt, Emmanuel Sanders is looking to continue his path and be the valuable option in the passing game. With a brand new offense led by Mike McCoy, that should not be an issue.

In Mike McCoy’s offense, we saw Demaryius Thomas flourish in it when Manning came to town. 2012 saw Thomas have his best season to date. Could we see the same thing for Emmanuel Sanders?

For Emmanuel Sanders, his production has dipped a bit every season. However, this new offense shows some promise for the former SMU player.

The development of Trevor Siemian or Paxton Lynch will be key for production. If Mike McCoy can get either quarterback up to speed, I see a productive year for Sanders.

Final Stats:

87 Catches

1,215 Yards

7 Touchdowns
