Paxton Lynch

This is my sign to expect Paxton Lynch to be the starter this season. Lynch is showing incredible strides to be the guy in week one against the Los Angeles Chargers. There is no question he has the talent and ability to be a top-five quarterback in the NFL. Lynch’s footwork and smarts are in question but he used all of it as motivation to prove them wrong.

The first round draft pick’s arm talent is in full display in practice along with accuracy. He makes for an impact fantasy player due to his mobility and potential for plenty of yards through the air in 2017. John Elway and the brass drafted plenty of talent to bolster the offense. Demaryius Thomas, Emmanuel Sanders, Carlos Henderson, Virgil Green, AJ Derby and Jeff Heuerman should provide comfortability for Lynch.

Next: Devontae Booker Comfortable in new offense

Lynch utilizes much to be desired as a quarterback in the NFL. If Lynch is closing the gap in Training Camp to Trevor Siemian, then who knows the impact he may have in 2017. Let’s say Lynch is the starter this season. He has to keep the foot on the gas pedal to separate himself from Siemian. Siemian will not go away lightly.
