Linebackers (9)

Shane Ray (OLB), Brandon Marshall (ILB), Todd Davis (ILB), Von Miller (OLB), Shaquil Barrett, Kasim Edebali, Corey Nelson, Zaire Anderson, Vontarrius Dora

The starting linebackers should come as no surprise. Shane Ray and Von Miller will play on the outside while Brandon Marshall and Todd Davis play on the inside.

I am interested to see how Zaire Anderson and Corey Nelson perform in training camp and preseason. If they can do well, I could see either one replacing Todd Davis on the inside linebacker spot. But there is no doubt that Todd Davis will do what he can to fend them off.

With Shaquil Barrett set to miss some time with a hip injury, there could also be a situation where the Broncos add another outside linebacker instead of an inside linebacker. It will depend upon Barrett’s recovery time.

The backup linebackers should really help on special teams. Edebali and Nelson will be solid members of the coverage team.
