Watching Orion Stewart’s highlights at Baylor, you wouldn’t be able to figure out why he went undrafted. The All-Big 12 safety was a football magnet, picking off 12 passes in 49 career games with 38 starts.

Stewart has great range as a safety, and has the type of ability that he could play a variety of roles within a defense. Unlike Will Parks, Stewart is more of a finesse player rather than a physical player that is going to make you wish you hadn’t caught the bal.

Also unlike Parks, Stewart has a lot of height and length that allow him to reach in and deflect passes. He can get burned deep, and some of his ‘lowlights’ are less than impressive, but Orion Stewart is a good football player who is going to contend for a roster spot.
