Week Eight is upon us. What changes are there in the top-10? Who’s number one? Read the Power Rankings here, brought to you by Predominantly Orange.

Week seven brought another shake-up to the Top-10 of the Power Rankings.  There are no more undefeated teams, meaning we have a new number one.  The Denver Broncos restored some order in a smack down of the Texans, while the Falcons took a hit after their loss.  Who’s number one?

1. New England Patriots (2)

The Patriots appear the team to beat in the entire NFL.  Their offense is seemingly unstoppable—loaded with multiple quick twitch receivers and two great receiving tight ends.  Coaching puts this team over the top each and every year.  While they aren’t without flaws, they are the most complete team in the NFL at the moment.

2. Dallas Cowboys (4)

Dallas moved up two spots, and they didn’t even have to play a game.  If the season ended today, Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott should win Co-Rookie-Of-The-Year.  Jason Garrett has been brilliant in tailoring this offense around his two rookies and would also be right there with Bill Belichick for Coach-of-The-Year.  Soon Garrett will have a decision to make when his other quarterback is healthy.  This decision will ultimately determine the success or failure of this season.

3. Seattle Seahawks (3)

The Seahawks taketh, and the Seahawks giveth away.  After a terrible missed field goal by Cardinals kicker Chandler Catanzaro, the Seahawks were given new life, only to give it away on an equally terrible missed field goal.  A couple things are clear; First, the Seahawks’ defense is as good as it gets in the NFL.  Second, Russell Wilson is hurt.  Seattle’s offense is not going to work the way they want it to without his mobility.  Due to the fact that they’ve already had their bye, his mobility may not come back until next year.

4. Minnesota Vikings (1)

The Vikings weakness has been exposed—offensive line.  In his return to Philadelphia, Sam Bradford was awful.  With no running game to be found, even a relatively good defensive performance couldn’t help the Vikings, who are undefeated no more.
