Week six didn’t go the way a lot of the top teams had hoped.  Who fell out of the top-10 and who climbed their way in.  Week seven Power Rankings start now.

Week six is in the books, so it’s time for the seasons seventh edition of the NFL Power Rankings.  The top-2 remained in tact, but there was a lot of shakeup in the rest of the top-10.  Were the Broncos able to maintain a spot in the top-10 after their second straight defeat?  Which teams were able to make significant jumps and how low have the Panthers fallen?  Find out here.

1. Minnesota Vikings (1)

The Vikings got some rest and got to watch many of the top teams drop games to lesser opponents.  As the last undefeated team in the league, they deserve the number one spot till they falter.  See’s how they also appear to boast the best defense in the league, they could stay number one for quite some time.

2. New England Patriots (2)

Gronk is officially all the way back from his injury, and he’s extra chatty as well.  He was chirping at any Bengal who would listen, and even picked himself up a nice taunting penalty.  The attitude he brings to the table is truly something else, and will win games for the Patriots on that alone.  They appear to once again be a force in the AFC.  Right now they should be considered the favorites to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl.

3. Seattle Seahawks (5)

Richard Sherman really got away with one on the last play as a blatant pass interference went uncalled.  With that said, these are the types of games that the Seahawks have always seemed to find a way to win since Russell Wilson has been under center.  The Seahawks nearly melted down in the second half, but managed to find a way to beat a very good Falcons team.

4. Dallas Cowboys (9)

How bout them Cowboys?  Dallas is on some sort of roll, and it all starts up front.  The Packers were leading the NFL in rushing defense by a large margin and the Cowboys managed to run all over them.  Dak Prescott managed to beat Tom Brady’s record of passes thrown without an interception to start a career before finally throwing his first INT of the year.  However, it didn’t matter one bit.  Prescott outplayed Aaron Rodgers by a wide margin.  It’s hard to see, barring a meltdown/injury, how Tony Romo recaptures the starting job once he’s healthy.
