Backup/Roster Bubble Players

As far as the other players not starting there are a few players that could turn some heads during training camp and the preseason. These players I expect should earn a spot on the final roster. Robert Myers is a guard that came over from the Baltimore Ravens.

The buzz around him is that he could be one of the bigger surprises in training camp and could take a roster spot. He is one name that I will be looking at. Another one is Michael Schofield. We know how much he struggled during the season. He was able to pick it up a bit in the postseason, but I look at this season as perhaps a huge dress rehearsal for him. If he gets the chance again and gets beat off the line by a defender, I can see him departing from the Mile High City.

One name to look out for as well is the 2016 4th Round Draft Pick Connor McGovern. The man that can squat 700 pounds could be a dark horse candidate for a roster spot. I believe he is predicted to become a backup guard, but his versatility can help in the case of injury.

For the remainder of the offensive linemen looking to secure a roster spot, it is open season. It is fair game to anyone who can show the coaching staff that they have potential.
