3. Devontae Booker

Devontae Booker is a rookie tailback out of Utah who was one of the country’s most productive players over the last two seasons. The Broncos acquired him in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft after many assumed he would be gone by the end of day two.

He’s a phenomenal talent who fell in the draft due to injuries.

What He Brings to the Table

Booker is another all-around back for the Broncos. He has great size, power, ability to break tackles, and he can be a phenomenal receiver out of the backfield. He doesn’t have elite breakaway speed but like with many other backs, he has a way of getting behind the second and third level of defense.

Booker has great vision and sees holes and soft spots in the defense. He is a physical runner who reminds me a lot of Arian Foster.

2016 Outlook

Booker will start as the 3rd back, but eventually wind up as C.J. Andrson’s primary backup
