The Denver Broncos saw two defensive players make the NFL Network’s Top 100 as Demarcus Ware and Aqib Talib ranked Nos. 36 and 34 respectfully. Is this a good place to rank them on this list?

The Denver Broncos so far have seen four players make the Top 100. Emmanuel Sanders, T.J. Ward, Demaryius Thomas, and Chris Harris Jr. have made the list so far. On Wednesday, we saw two more members of the Broncos defense make the Top 100.

Edge rusher Demarcus Ware made the NFL Top 100 at No. 36 while corner back Aqib Talib landed at No. 34. These two mark the third and fourth members of the Denver Broncos defense to make the Top 100. This shows how dominant that defense was in 2015.

For Demarcus Ware, while he did miss five games due to injury, he was a huge leader on the defense. Even Von Miller praised and thanked him for his help into making him the player and person he is today.

One fascinating thing about Demarcus Ware is that he may have missed time due to injury, but he still recorded double digit sacks for the year. Perhaps one of my favorite moments of him this season was at Super Bowl 50, when he sacked Cam Newton to end the first half.

For me, that was the moment where I started feeling a bit more at ease and I am certain kept the momentum with the Broncos as well as put the minds of Broncos fans at a higher confidence level.

Aqib Talib was an interesting spot on the list, but I do believe he deserves it. Two interceptions returned for touchdowns. The first one being the biggest one as he helped give the Denver Broncos the lead against the Baltimore Ravens.

While he has had some great moments, there were other not so great ones. I am talking about the aggressive nature he had at times where he poked a Colts player in the eye and his rough play in the first half of the Super Bowl.

Despite all of that, he along with Chris Harris Jr. gave the Denver Broncos quite a tandem for the corner back position. He would make some big plays whenever the time came to call his name.

I believe having Demarcus Ware and Aqib Talib at these spots is a good place. Ware might be a bit high on the list, but I believe his leadership could have helped his cause. For Talib, his spot on the list is in due to his abilities as a coverage corner.

Will we see any other Denver Broncos players on the Top 100? Tune in next week and see.
