Terrell Davis

Someone needs to tell me and the rest of Broncos Country why Terrell Davis is still not in the Hall of Fame yet. I know that injuries cut short his career, but what he was able to do in the short time he was in the NFL should speak volumes. Especially in the big games.

While most talk about John Elway, I can safely say that the Broncos would probably not have been in and won Super Bowls without TD himself. He was the rock of that Broncos team and deserves to be enshrined into the Hall of Fame. In his short career, he still managed to accumulate over 7,000 yards and 60 touchdowns. He is the all time Broncos running back as far as career franchise numbers.

In Super Bowl 32, he recorded 157 yards rushing and became the first player in Super Bowl history with three rushing touchdowns. And this was while suffering from a migraine in the second quarter. He also is one of the few running backs who rushed for over 2,000 yards in a season. Not to mention over 1,000 yards rushing during the postseason.

Terrell Davis got the job done during the regular season and the postseason. The fact that he is not enshrined yet is absolute madness, especially with some of the players that are already in that are good, but did not exactly provide the extra boost their team needed.
