But Cody Latimer was there…

Cody Latimer’s legend has grown astronomically, and the young receiver seems to be taking everything in stride. Despite some poor throws from the quarterbacks and some great coverage being played against him, Latimer stood out for some big plays yet again at practice today, and drew a crowd afterward as well.

“It was exciting in pads. Yesterday we had shoulder pads, but today you have the full pads. It’s a little more physical out there which is what we need to prepare us for the season. Everybody was smart about it, trying to stay off the ground. I felt like it was a good day.”

Latimer made a couple of really nice catches in traffic, some adjusting to poorly thrown balls and some just showing off his physical prowess. His breakout is certainly coming…

“Yeah, it’s much more fun now. Last year was stressful. I was scared to mess up, things like that. Now I’m confident, can play fast and can just play my game.”
