It would be nice if the Broncos could find a way to get Garcia in the starting lineup sooner rather than later, but they seem set for the time being on Gino Gradkowski, Shelley Smith, and a few others for either the left guard or center spots this season.

Seniority seems to be in effect for the Broncos right now, but that doesn’t mean Garcia can’t prove himself over the course of training camp. I think this season, we’ll see him as a backup to both the left guard and center spots, but the Broncos should be open to letting him start.

They had some horrid center play last season, so if Garcia could come in and rectify that, he should be given every chance. I really liked his potential coming out of Florida, and I still see a future starter here. For 2015, I’m going to project him as a backup.
