As I said, Chris Harris Jr. is still somehow the best kept secret in the NFL. You might wonder how that’s possible since he made his first Pro Bowl last year (he should have made it in 2013 as well…), signed a brand new contract with the Broncos, and was named the 2nd best defensive player in football by Pro Football Focus.

How is a guy like that so underrated?

For Harris Jr. to not be respected by his peers — though this is a relatively meaningless list — is infuriating. In my opinion, there’s no cornerback in the NFL who can do what Harris does, playing inside, outside, playing some safety, and doing each with excellence.

He leads the way in terms of underrated players on the Broncos, though I don’t want to believe he’s still underrated. It’s extremely unfair for what he’s done in this league.

Hopefully this year, that will change permanently.
