Von Miller Vows Dominance, Wants to Stay With Broncos

Denver Broncos linebacker and star pass rusher Von Miller put on a clinic of how to answer questions about an expiring contract.

Apparently he doesn’t want to leave anything in question here. Miller is going to come out and probably have the best season of his career in 2015. If you’re like me, you can just feel that coming. It seemed as of last offseason, Miller had really re-focused himself and was in a ‘zone’ so to speak after being suspended the year prior, coming back overweight, and generally having a poor season before tearing his ACL.

With a new diet and improved physical condition, Miller’s position switch to the OLB role in a 3-4 defense orchestrated by Wade Phillips is setting the table for an absolute monster year from the Broncos’ star defender.

Oh, and the whole ‘contract year’ thing.

It’s safe to say Miller is in line for a big season, and there will be plenty who benefit from that. Most notably, the team as a whole, but rookie Shane Ray is also going to learn a thing or two from two of the best pass rushers we have seen in the NFL in recent memory (Miller, DeMarcus Ware).

Broncos fans can rest assured Miller’s final year with the team won’t be 2015, and likely not 2016. He’ll become one of the highest paid defenders in the NFL before too long.

And best of all, a Bronco (hopefully) for life.
