We’re only a few days away, ladies and gents.

The draft is quickly approaching and I’m here to deliver my last batch of draft reports to you. This week I’ll focus on a position that may not seem like a position of weakness on the Broncos: linebackers (inside linebackers, to be specific).

On the surface, the Broncos are in a pretty good position at linebacker with starters Brandon Marshall and Danny Trevathan. However, depth is a question with only one proven guy back there in Steven Johnson. After that the Broncos have second year players Lamin Barrow, Corey Nelson and Todd Davis.

What would make it even more likely for the Broncos to take a linebacker early is the unfortunate reality that Danny Trevathan hasn’t been able to stay healthy during his short career. John Elway may look for a Plan B just in case Trevathan isn’t able to escape the injury bug once again.

The following three linebackers are all players I think the Broncos could feasibly take within the first two round: Clemson’s Stephone Anthony (#42), UCLA’s Eric Kendricks (#6), and Mississippi State’s Benardrick McKinney (#50). Let’s take a look at what these players could provide at the next level and possibly for the orange and blue.
