The Denver Broncos released their team schedule for week one of the next phase of the offseason activity program. Here’s the full run-down…

The Denver Broncos are pressing onward in their offseason program, and have officially released details for this up-coming week.

From Tuesday, May 23rd through Thursday, May 25th, the Broncos will practice starting at 10:30 AM, ending at 12:30 PM. After practices, select coaches and players will meet the media.

On Tuesday, head coach Vance Joseph will address the media. The likely number one topic of discussion? His quarterback position. Every snap, every throw, every rep will be over-analyzed and picked apart until the Broncos name a week one starter.

That announcement might not come until the final week or two of the preseason, so you’d better buckle in…

On Wednesday, defensive coordinator Joe Woods and special teams coordinator Brock Olivo will meet with the media. No offense to Woods, but Olivo has become must-see television and any opportunity to hear him talk about football is something Denver Broncos fans should be eating up.

Olivo has a contagious personality and was an instant hit with the fans after he was hired.

Woods will get to talk about the new pieces he has on the defensive line, and what he’s going to do with all of that depth the Broncos have on the defensive side of the football in general.

On Thursday, offensive coordinator Mike McCoy will meet the media. From where I’m sitting, McCoy’s job this offseason is going to be the toughest among all of Denver’s new coaches. First of all, the team has to decide on a quarterback. Second, he has to find a way to resurrect one of the worst offenses in the league, implementing a new system in the process.

The Broncos have been one of the worst offensive groups in the NFL since the beginning of the 2015 season, extending into last year. The weaponry has seemingly improved, so it’s a matter of McCoy and the rest of the offensive staff putting players in position to succeed.

We will have coverage of this phase of OTAs as the week progresses.
