With the schedule now out for all 32 teams, we can shift our focus back to the draft. And the Denver Broncos can start preparing for the next phase of the offseason.

The NFL Draft in Philadelphia.

There are still some key spots that need to be addressed in the draft. The offensive line could be the biggest one. That is followed by defensive line, linebacker, corner back, and so on.

Fansided’s site NFL Mocks does a mock draft with all 32 blogs writing for the various NFL teams. A lot of thought went into this pick.

The first round pick for the Denver Broncos is going to be critical. This needs to be the best pick in order to help the team get back into the playoffs.

After much consideration and looking at the board, Predominantly Orange has decided to go offensive line with the first pick.

And with the 20th pick of the 2017 NFL Draft, the Denver Broncos select Forrest Lamp, offensive lineman from Western Kentucky.

I decided to draft him mostly due to his flexibility on the offensive line. He played left tackle during his time as a Hilltopper. NFL scouts are afraid that his length will force him on the inside of the line.

However, I do believe he can play the tackle position in the NFL. One of his biggest strengths is his ability to open up running lanes. The Denver Broncos struggled running the football last season. I believe having Forrest Lamp on the line will help a bit with those struggles.

His footwork is also something to praise him for. Quick feet can get you far in the NFL these days.

With the struggles on the line, I thought it was important to go with the offensive lineman in the first round. Hopefully, he will provide the Broncos with solid blocking.
