Broncos Hosting Texans In Joint August Practices

Per the team website, the Denver Broncos will play host to the Houston Texans this August. Not just at Sports Authority Field at Mile High, but also at their Dove Valley practice field.

This means that the Broncos are going to get an early look at what portends to be a ferocious pass rushing duo: J.J. Watt and Jadeveon Clowney.

It’s a great concept, merging two teams to practice against each other, in an effort to get better before the season starts.

When the Broncos offense is constantly competing against the Broncos defense, it can lose some of its effectiveness. The offense knows what the defense is going to do. And the defense knows what play the offense is going to run.

The practices will be held at Dove Valley August 19th through the 21st. These joint training camp sessions will culminate in their pre-season matchup at Sports Authority Field at Mile High on August 23rd.

I, for one, am excited to see a little bit of a change up in training camp. It’ll keep the players on their toes and elevates their level of competition. You tell us, Broncos Country. Are you for these joint practices, or against?
