Linebacker D’Qwell Jackson spent Monday with the Denver Broncos, as expected, and according to Mike Klis of the Denver Post, he liked what he saw.

The Broncos’ offer apparently wasn’t sweet enough to convince Jackson that Denver is the place to be today, but he is apparently going to decide by the end of the week where he will spend the next couple of years of his NFL career.

These are just my two cents, so take it for that, but I can’t imagine why a guy like Jackson, who has spent nearly his entire career in last place with the Browns would want to sign with the Dolphins or Titans, and there is apparently a fourth unnamed team, which could be the Cardinals.

The Broncos obviously present most free agents to be with a really good chance to ‘win now’ which is a bargaining chip they will have as long as Peyton Manning is the quarterback.

Jackson has connections in other NFL cities, but I think ultimately he will wind up in Denver. Obviously now, time will tell, as his free agent tour continues.
