2013 NFL Mock Draft: The Denver Broncos Select…

In this new weekly feature, we’re showcasing Fansided.com’s weekly 2013 NFL Mock Draft.

As Denver Broncos fans, you may think it’s too early to start talking draft, but it’s never too early for the team to start setting itself up for multiple seasons like we’re having right now.

I guarantee you that the Broncos’ front office and personnel staff are thinking draft even with a 10-3 team heading straight into the playoffs. That’s why we’re going to jump ahead as well.

If the draft were today, the Broncos would be selecting at No. 30.

With the 30th pick in the 2013 NFL Draft, the Denver Broncos select:

"30. Denver Broncos – C.J. Mosley, Outside Linebacker, AlabamaMosley missed some time this season but that didn’t stop him from flexing his muscles on an outrageous Bulldogs defense. He’s been called the best true linebacker in the draft and is just too good for Denver to pass up. Mosley and Von Miller together is a scary thought for AFC teams.. – Josh Hill (FanSided)"

This was the same selection that the guys at Fansided made last week.

"Mosely is too good to pass up. Many draft scouts have called Mosley the best true linebacker in the draft and it’s no secret that the Broncos could benefit from adding star-studded linebackers to their roster. – Josh Sanchez (Fansided)"

While Mosley would be a good addition to the Broncos already rush-heavy defense, I wouldn’t mind seeing the Broncos taking another Derek Wolfe-type guy at defensive tackle.

As I said last week, Kevin Vickerson, Mitch Unrein, and Justin Bannan will be free agents at the end of the season. The team needs more depth at tackle.

If Jesse Williams from Alabama is still on the board, I would take him. The Austalia native played at a junior college in Arizona before transferring to Alabama. He can bench press 600 pounds, but what’s more is he’s agile and very gifted athletically, especially in getting around the edge.

In his first season with the Tide, Williams started all 13 games as a defensive end, with 24 tackles (4 tackles for a loss) and half a sack.

This is just food for thought. Let us know what you think? Which position/player should the Broncos go after in the first round of this year’s draft?
