Denver Broncos Training Camp 2010

AUTHOR: | IN: Broncos, Fanzone/Tailgating | COMMENTS: None Yet

Training camp has already started for the rookies. They reported to camp on Wednesday. The veterans will report on Sunday when the first full team practice officially begins. For those of you in the Denver area, or for those of you considering making the trip to Dove Valley to attend practice, let me tell you that it’s well worth it. I went to about 10 practices last year and got to experience the sights, sounds, and even smells that accompany the game of football. An errant pass can send a receiver or a defender into your lap. You can hear the conversations [...]

Broncos Clip Of The Week

AUTHOR: | IN: Broncos, Clip of the Week! | COMMENTS: None Yet

Josh McDaniels went on Fox Sports to talk about the upcoming season. He speaks about the mindset that the team needs to maintain throughout the season as well as Tim Tebow as a draft choice. McD is very convinced that Kyle Orton is the starter at least going into training camp based on what he’s shown the coaches in May and June. That makes this our clip of the week.

A fan’s guide to attending Broncos training camp. Elvis Dumervil Gets His Contract

AUTHOR: | IN: Broncos | COMMENTS: None Yet

Happy Friday. Happy pay day. And that it is for outside linebacker, Elvis Dumervil.  Dr. Doom finally received and agreed to a big long term contract worth $61.5 million over 6 years ($43.1 million guaranteed). That’s Champ Bailey-like money for a guy who makes just as big an impact as Bailey on defense.  Dumervil is well deserving of this deal. He led the league in sacks last season with 17. That’s after Josh McDaniels asked him to make the switch from inside to outside linebacker. Dumervil did so without complaining and showed that he’s capable of being a great defensive [...]

Chiefs To Lead AFC West In Rushing?

AUTHOR: | IN: Broncos, NFL | COMMENTS: 1 Comment

The results from Monday’s poll question are in. The majority of you (40%) believe that the Chiefs will lead the AFC West in rushing this season. The Chargers came in 2nd with 32% of the vote, followed by the Broncos with 25%, and the Raiders with 3%. There were a total of 525 voters. Source: Yardbarker I completely agree with the majority. The Chiefs’ backfield of Jamaal Charles and Thomas Jones is downright frightening. This is especially true for Broncos fans that saw Charles blast our defense for 259 rushing yards and 2 TDs in our last meeting with the Chiefs. Let’s [...]

Promises From The Denver Broncos

AUTHOR: | IN: Broncos | COMMENTS: None Yet

As many of you know, Tim Tebow’s Nike training shoe just came out. On the left heel, reads the word “PROMISE.” This stems from Tebow’s Florida days when he promised that “a lot of good will come out of this” after a 1 point loss to Ole Miss in 2008. He promised to play harder than any player, and to work his teammates harder than anyone else for the remainder of the season. Here’s the clip of his speech with ”The Promise” coming at the 2:15 mark.  Here are fifteen promises I would like to see made by the Broncos this season: The Broncos organization promises Elvis [...]
