It's been a rough handful of years for the Denver Broncos and their fan base, which includes (or has included) a number of prominent celebrities through the years. Over the last 13 or so years, the Denver Broncos have attracted a lot of "bandwagon" fans thanks to the team's acquisitions of quarterbacks Tim Tebow and Peyton Manning. The Broncos became a household name after the addition of Manning and, when the team is winning, of course they're going to have way more prominent celebrities closely following the team.
Whether they are die-hard fans or they have been fans in the past, there are plenty of notable celebrities who claim (or have claimed) the Denver Broncos as their favorite team. Or maybe they cheered the team on because of specific players.
Whatever their reasoning, let's take a look at the 13 most famous celebrities to claim Denver Broncos fandom (for however long).
13 most famous Denver Broncos fans in pop culture and sports
Honorable mention: Sir Ian McKellan (actor, Lord of the Rings)
We have visual evidence of Gandalf wearing a Denver Broncos jersey. Do you really think I'm not going to claim him as a member of Broncos Country?

Heck, even Sir Patrick Stewart is representing a current Denver Bronco in this photo...
12. Angela Kinsey (actress, The Office)
The Denver Broncos thankfully have some representation within their fan base from someone involved in the greatest TV show ever written. Okay, IMDb ranks it 28th overall among all-time shows, but it's forever no. 1 in my heart. And everyone knows Andrea, "the office b***h".
Er, I mean, Angela. Cat mom, Dwight Schrute's beloved, and Denver Broncos fan. As a matter of fact, the Denver Broncos recruited Angela (whose name is actually Angela in real life) to be part of their 2023 schedule release video.

11. Kate Hudson (actress)
Kate Hudson is an American actress and is probably most known at this point for her role in the Rom-Com How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, which is an absolute classic, if we're being honest. Hudson's love of the Denver Broncos runs deep. Her mother, actress Goldie Hawn, is also a huge Denver Broncos fan and the two (along with Kurt Russell) cheered the Denver Broncos on as they won Super Bowl 50.
But Kate Hudson deserves a ton of credit. She's a real one. She's been supporting the Denver Broncos through thick and thin.

Hudson is known for her roles in Fool's Gold and Almost Famous but one of her more recent projects in the film Glass Onion was also very good.
10. Don Cheadle (actor)
Many people remember Don Cheadle for his outstanding work in the film The Family Man from the early 2000s. Most people will recognize him for his work as James Rhodes/War Machine in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
He's the guy who fought Tony Stark to the tune of "Another One Bites the Dust" by Queen.

Cheadle has won Grammy awards, Golden Globes, and received an Academy Award nomination in 2005 for his performance in the film Hotel Rwanda.
9. Paul George, NBA star
Over the last 10 years, Paul George has been one of the best players in the NBA. He's an 8-time All-Star, 6-time All-NBA selection and 4-time All-NBA Defense selection. He's played for the Indiana Pacers, Oklahoma City Thunder, Los Angeles Clippers, and Team USA.
George has been outstanding as an NBA star and despite being well-traveled as a professional basketball player, he's remained true to his Denver Broncos fandom, something he's held onto since childhood.

Like many of us Millennial Denver Broncos fans, Paul George was an impressionable youth when the Denver Broncos were winning back-to-back championships in the late 90s. Those teams made fans of a lot of young people at the time and many of us are Denver Broncos today because of them.
8. Jimmy Butler, NBA star
Jimmy Butler is an NBA superstar who recently led the Miami Heat to the NBA Finals where they fell to the Denver Nuggets. Butler has been in the NBA since 2011 and has played for a variety of teams including the Chicago Bulls, Minnesota Timberwolves, Philadelphia 76ers, and now the Miami Heat. He's one of the biggest stars in the game today.
Butler has been named an All-Star six times, 5-time All-NBA, and 5-time All-NBA defense. Butler was great friends with the late, great Demaryius Thomas, one of the best wide receivers in Denver Broncos history. When Thomas was playing with the Broncos, Butler was frequently seen on the sideline at games rocking his no. 88 jersey in support.
Big Shout to @BKDenverSports for asking Jimmy Butler about his relationship with my fellow @GTAthletics & @Broncos alum Demaryius Thomas. Good stuff @KOAColorado #RIP D.T. pic.twitter.com/eyKmxy7vUf
โ Nick Ferguson (@NickFerguson_25) May 31, 2023
Even if Butler is not a die-hard Denver Broncos fan, his support for the team holds a special place in everyone's memory and his friendship to Demaryius Thomas makes him part of the Broncos Country family.
7. Matt Stone & Trey Parker (South Park creators)
Matt Stone and Trey Parker created the wildly popular animated series South Park, a show that takes place in the state of Colorado and pretty frequently references the Denver Broncos. Characters within the show are Broncos fans, and they take after the shows creators in that regard.
When actual fans weren't allowed in the stands during the pandemic in 2020, these guys paid to have South Park characters put on cardboard cutouts in the seats.
Stone and Parker made an ad for the NFL after the Broncos won the Super Bowl and hilariously joked that the team never won a Super Bowl until their show came out. Then, when the show came out, they won it all. Not only are Stone and Parker fans of the Denver Broncos, but Broncos Country gets to claim some of their hilarious fictional characters as members of the fan base as well.
6. Ciara (singer, songwriter, entertainer)
Ciara is married into the Denver Broncos fan family, but that doesn't matter. She's one of the most notable fans of the team and she's already been inspiring many with her gameday fits.
Ciara is an award-winning recording artist who has won BET awards, MTV Video Music awards, Teen Choice awards, and ASCAP Pop Music awards. She has some extremel well-known songs and music videos including Goodies and 1-2 Step.
Ciara married current Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson back in July of 2016, the same year the Denver Broncos won Super Bowl 50. How about that. Now, Ciara and the Wilson family are some of the most prominent members of Broncos Country and it's been a joy to have them as part of the family.
5. Condoleezza Rice, part owner/many other outstanding titles
Condoleezza Rice has held many titles and roles through the years, so we're going to let her Twitter biography explain all of the amazing things she's doing and part of. In addition to being the Director of The Hoover Institute, Rice is the 66th Secretary of State, an author, a professor, a pianist, a golfer, and a football fan.
Not only is she a general football fan, but she's invested a lot of money in being a big Denver Broncos fan.

Now that she's part of the team's ownership group, Rice is one of the most recognized and notable members of Broncos Country.
4. George Lucas, creator of Star Wars
There are a few notable "fans" of the Denver Broncos who were just along for the ride. Tiger Woods once attended a game with Lindsay Vonn, an Olympic skiier who is also a Denver Broncos fan. We recently mentioned Ciara, who is married to the team's QB. Plenty of other prominent figures have been "honorary" Broncos fans for a time but George Lucas -- the creator of freaking Star Wars -- has no choice but to accept a place in Broncos Country.
Lucas is married to Denver Broncos part-owner Mellody Hobson, president and co-CEO of Ariel Investments, and chairwoman of the Starbucks Corporation.

There's nothing else to it. The creator of the greatest story universe in the history of cinema is a Denver Broncos fan. It's settled.
3. Kyle Busch, NASCAR driver
Kyle Busch is the 2004 NASCAR rookie of the year, a two-time ESPY award winner as NASCAR's best driver, a two-time Cup Series Champion, owner of the Kyle Busch Motorsports team, and a Denver Broncos fan.
That's right. The Denver Broncos have representation across so many different areas of entertainment, including the wide world of racing.
Is it football season yet? @brextonbusch and I all geared up w @denverbroncos ready for Sunday and Monday nights! pic.twitter.com/c5536AtlO7
โ Kyle Busch (@KyleBusch) August 12, 2015
While Busch has been a Broncos fan in the past, have his allegiances changed? It's tough for anyone to endure losing, but Busch also has a residence in the Charlotte area which could be the reason why he's flipped to the Carolina Panthers after cheering on the Denver Broncos to a win over that same franchise in Super Bowl 50.
2. Sir Lewis Hamilton, part owner/Formula One driver
Sir Lewis Hamilton is undoubtedly one of the most famous Denver Broncos fans out there, and like a number of other notable names on this list, his Denver Broncos fandom came at a hefty price.
Hamilton is part of the Walton-Penner Family Ownership Group, but he's much more well-known for being a Formula One racecar driver. According to his Wikipedia page, it looks like Hamilton might be a pretty good driver:
"In Formula One, Hamilton has won a joint-record seven World Drivers' Championship titles (tied with Michael Schumacher), and holds the records for the most wins (103), pole positions (103), and podium finishes (194), among others."Lewis Hamilton's Wikipedia Page
Would you believe this guy only has 8.1 million followers on Twitter? Looks like he needs to step up his game there a bit.

1. Tim Allen, actor
For my money, the most recognizable fan in Broncos Country is actor Tim Allen. Tim Allen is freaking Buzz Lightyear. He's Santa Claus. He's Tim "The Toolman" Taylor. He's Mike Baxter.
There are very few people who are unfamiliar with the work Tim Allen has done through the years. Although he's played the role of both a Detroit Lions fan and a Denver Broncos fan, it seems like Tim Allen is most connected to his Denver Broncos fandom.
They are constantly being referenced in his show Last Man Standing and while there is some question over whether Mr. Allen is still a Lions fan or a fan of the Denver Broncos, I think it's probably safe to say he has multiple rooting interests.
Allen was born in Denver, but relocated to the state of Michigan in his youth. For now, I think it's safe to claim him as at least a part-time member of Broncos Country, and if that's the case, he's easily one of the most famous.
