One free agent from each NFC team the Broncos should sign: NFC West
1. Arizona Cardinals - Byron Murphy, CB

With Vance Joseph in as the Broncos new defensive coordinator, I'd assume that the team would give Joseph a player or two from his time in Arizona. He spent four seasons as the Cardinals DC.

Byron Murphy could slide in and replace the much older and more injury prone Ronald Darby. This would give the Broncos a very good set of cornerbacks for the long term.

2. Los Angeles Rams - Matt Gay, K

Matt Gay is one of the best kickers in the NFL over the last two seasons. You know he's legit when his kicking percentage starts with a "9."

Brandon McManus made less than 80% of his kicks in 2022 and is being paid like an elite kicker, even though he's far from it. The Broncos need to improve both their punting and kicking situation in 2023, and Gay can be a part of that solution.

3. San Francisco 49ers - Mike McGlinchey, OT

If the Denver Broncos do not want to give big money to Kaleb McGary, their right tackle solution could come by way of Mike McGlinchey. The fifth-year tackle played in and started every game this year after playing in just eight games in 2022.

He may price his way out of San Francisco, who does not have a ton of cap space to spend, so the Broncos might be in play.

4. Seattle Seahawks - Rashaad Penny, RB

The Seahawks drafted Rashaad Penny in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft, and the former San Diego State product has not played in more than 14 games in a season.

The injury concerns are real. He re-upped with the Seahawks on a one-year deal and only played in five games this season. However, he's got three seasons averaging at least 5.7 yards per carry, and he averaged more than six yards per carry in back-to-back seasons.

Penny could be a nice addition to the Broncos and could share the backfield with Latavius Murray or an addition from the 2023 NFL Draft.
