One free agent from each NFC team the Broncos should sign: NFC East
1. Dallas Cowboys - TY Hilton, WR

I wonder if TY Hilton wants to continue playing. He signed very late in the 2022 season with the Cowboys and is a true speed threat, something Denver does not have. With KJ Hamler proving virtually nothing in the NFL, Hilton could perhaps be that "take the top off" guy that Denver has needed.

2. New York Giants - Saquon Barkley, RB

This one is interesting because I think in every scenario, he'll remain as a Giant for 2023, at least. However, he's still slated to be a free agent, so if he does hit the market, the Broncos should be interested.

Barkley had a bounceback 2022 season after some injury-plagued years. He's one of the best pure runners of this generation and would certainly help the Broncos.

3. Philadelphia Eagles - CJ Gardner-Johnson, S

CJ Gardner-Johnson is a free agent and was drafted by the New Orleans Saints and Sean Payton. He's a diverse player who could be Justin Simmons' new running mate but could also play in different areas of the secondary.

This would form one of the best ball-hawking secondaries in the NFL, along with Patrick Surtain and K'Waun Williams.

4. Washington Commanders - Carson Wentz, QB

If there is any coach in the NFL who could fix Carson Wentz not named Frank Reich, it's Sean Payton. I'd trust Payton to be able to get some solid production out of Wentz, and this move would place Wentz as the QB2 in Denver and would give the Broncos an extremely high upside option at the position in case Russell Wilson falters.
