Like Compton, Billy Turner was also saddled with injuries last season and just didn't play well when he was on the field. He seemed like a great depth signing at the time when the deal was made and it was his second stint with the team.

Turner played for the Broncos from 2016-18 before going to the Green Bay Packers for three seasons. He's always had trouble staying on the field, though he had much better fortunes with that in Green Bay. Now he's a guy who has that stigma while also getting older.

When he was on the field for the Broncos this past season, he just didn't ever seem to be at 100 percent and he struggled as a result. He's going to be a decent depth piece for any team due to his experience as he has played in 91 games across his career, but his best days are almost certainly behind him.

As stated previously, between Compton, Turner, Cam Fleming and Calvin Anderson, the Broncos probably need to bring at least one of those guys back but if it's not either Compton or Turner, that would be understanable.
