Dre'Mont Jones, Defensive Lineman

Dre'Mont Jones is easily the biggest name on this list for the Broncos and in a perfect world, they would be able to keep him.

Jones was drafted in the third round of the 2019 draft out of Ohio State and the Broncos did quite well to find him that late in the selection process. In that time, he has been great for the team, recording 133 total tackles and 22 sacks.

Jones is easily a budding defensive star and his future looks incredibly bright. But the Broncos almost certainly won't be able to keep him.

There are going to be teams lining up to make a play for Jones and those teams are going to have more money to make that deal than the Broncos do. Spotrac shows that Jones could get a deal in the neighborhood of $17.1 million per year. That number could easily go higher, too.

The Broncos would love to keep Jones around but they will likely need to plan on using their resources elsewhere. Jones is going to get a big payday.

Decision: Allow Jones to find a new team.
