Dalton Risner, Guard

Sticking with the theme of the offensive line, the decision on what to do with Dalton Risner may be one of the more difficult ones the front office faces this offseason.

On one hand, he is a hometown kid who is a locker room favorite and was the team's Walter Payton Man of the Year nominee. Unfortunately, none of those things help on-field production and on the field, Risner has been a very average player.

Spotrac predicts that Risner could fetch a new contract worth about $9.5 million per season and there is quite likely a team out there willing to pay up for his services.

For the Broncos, there isn't really a good answer on the current roster and there may not be one in the draft either due to a lack of picks.

If the Broncos are able to secure more draft picks or make a trade with another team, they could adequately replace Risner. If one of those options isn't available, it might be best to bring him back.
