Kareem Jackson, Safety

Kareem Jackson seems to be an interesting decision for the team to make every offseason as the team continues to sign him to one-year deals.

It seems the team has been caught in the middle of trying to find someone to replace his production or finding a better option. To this point, Jackson has just stepped up, even at an advanced age, and played well.

Last season, he registered 94 tackles, which was the most he has had in any season with the team while also recovering two fumbles.

The Broncos do have young safeties in Caden Sterns and Delarrin Turner-Yell, but if Jackson keeps agreeing to compete on a one-year, team-friendly deal, there isn't much reason not to keep him around so long as he is producing.

In past years, I haven't advocated for the team to re-sign Jackson but this year it is the right move. The team can get at least one more season with he and Justin Simmons at the safety spots along with Patrick Surtain as one of the corners and a chance to have one of the league's best secondaries.

Decision: Re-sign Jackson to another one-year deal.
