The blocking tight end trio

The Broncos have two tight ends under contract for next season — Greg Dulcich and Albert Okwuegbunam. Dulcich had a solid rookie season but Okwuegbunam has been a bit of a disappointment.

The team will need to address the tight end spot but it would probably make sense to keep one of the tight ends that is an unrestricted free agent, all of which happen to be more of a blocking tight end than a pass-catching option.

Andrew Beck just completed his fourth season with the team but he's never been much of an offensive weapon.

Eric Tomlinson was in his first season with the team and had nine catches and Eric Saubert, re-signed as a bit of an afterthought in free agency last season, had 15 receptions.

All three guys have comparable salaries and none of them are going to break the bank to keep around. But the team should keep at least one of them. If I were making that decision, I'd hang onto Saubert.

Decision: Re-sign Saubert, allow Tomlinson and Beck to look for new teams.
