Denver Broncos uniform schedule reveals rarity for Week 2

On Monday, the Denver Broncos revealed their uniform schedule for the 2023-2024 NFL Season. They have three main uniforms, plus a throwback one, which is the one where the new 'Snowcapped' helmets will be used.

Out of the 17 games, Denver will use their orange uniforms in six games, the white uniforms in eight games, the throwback uniforms in two games, and the 'Navy' uniforms in one game respectively.

Now, that we know the number of games where each uniform will be used, let's take a look at the week-by-week uniform schedule ...

Weeks 1-6:

Week 1 NFL Kickoff vs Raiders:

For Sean Payton's first official game as the Broncos head coach, a divisional matchup. A great opportunity for Denver to end their six-game losing streak against the Raiders, the Broncos will wear their orange uniforms.

Week 2 vs Commanders:

The second consecutive home game for the Broncos to kick off their 2023-24 season, an important game against the Commanders, where the team will wear their white away uniforms, despite being a home game. The reason for it is that the Broncos will honor their Super Bowl XXXIII win against the Falcons, they wore white uniforms during that game.

Week 3 at Dolphins:

The first away game for the Broncos, in Miami ... despite being an away game, the Broncos will wear their home orange uniforms. It will definitely be a very important game, as the Dolphins will probably be one of the most challenging teams in the AFC, and against their former head coach Vic Fangio, who is now the defensive coordinator for Miami.

Week 4 at Bears:

Second consecutive road game for the Broncos, their first road game against a non-conference opponent, a battle of athletic quarterbacks in Russell Wilson and Justin Fields. Denver will wear their away white uniforms. It will be the first time the Broncos will play in Soldier Field for the first time since 2015.

Week 5 vs Jets:

The one that everyone is waiting for ... the Broncos are back at home for the revenge game against Nathaniel Hackett, who is now the offensive coordinator for the Jets. A game that already looks spicy after the Sean Payton comments regarding Hackett. Russell Wilson vs Aaron Rodgers in Denver. The Broncos will wear their 'Color Rush' uniforms with the new 'Snowcapped' helmets.

Week 6 at Chiefs:

The Broncos' first Primetime game of the season, at least at the moment (the Jets game could be moved to Primetime), in Arrowhead against the defending Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs. Sean Payton vs Andy Reid, a matchup between two future Hall of Fame head coaches. Can the Broncos give the surprise, and beat the Chiefs for the first time in 15 games at their stadium, in Primetime? For this matchup, the Broncos will wear their white uniforms.

Weeks 7-12:

Week 7 vs Packers:

The Broncos return home after their Thursday Night Football game @ KC. A long week to prepare for this one against Green Bay. It will be the first time since 2015 that the Broncos play at home against the Packers ...The last time, Aaron Rodgers got destroyed by Denver's defense. For this one, the Broncos will use their orange uniforms.

Week 8 vs Chiefs:

The second game against the Kansas City Chiefs in a span of three weeks. This time in Denver. The Broncos are wearing for back-to-back games their orange uniforms. It will be the second home divisional game for the Broncos, the first one since week 1 (vs LV). Can the Broncos have a home win against the Chiefs for the first time since 2014?

Week 9 - BYE WEEK

Week 10 at Bills:

The Broncos' third game against an AFC East team, the first game on the road after back-to-back home games against the Packers and the Chiefs. Their first and only Monday Night Football game of the season. Russell Wilson vs Josh Allen, Pat Surtain vs Stefon Diggs. It will be a huge one. Denver has not defeated the Bills since 2014, and it was a home game for the Broncos. For this game, the Broncos will wear their white uniforms. The last time, the Broncos won @ Buffalo was in 2007 ...

Week 11 vs Vikings:

Back-to-Back primetime games for the Denver Broncos, this time, their first home primetime game of the season. Justin Jefferson vs Patrick Surtain is one of the most exciting WR-CB matchups that the 2023-2024 season will have. The Broncos will wear their Navy uniforms for this game, the only time they will use them in the season (at the moment).

Week 12 vs Browns:

Back-to-back home games for the Broncos, as they host the Cleveland Browns. Another good matchup that could make the difference in the Playoff push for both teams. Russell Wilson vs Deshaun Watson ... a battle between the two big QB names from the 2022 offseason. Denver will wear their orange uniforms for this one.

Weeks 13-18:

Week 13 at Texans:

A conference road game, the first one after two consecutive home games. Denver will be wearing their white uniforms to face the number two and number three overall picks of the 2023 NFL Draft ... CJ Stroud and Will Anderson Jr. Can the Broncos extend their winning streak against Houston?

Week 14 at Chargers:

Second-consecutive road game for the Broncos, second consecutive road game with white uniforms. It will be their first matchup against the Bolts, and their first divisional game since week 8 against Kansas City. The Broncos have not won against the Chargers on the road since 2019 ...

Week 15 at Lions:

Third consecutive game on the road, and once again the Broncos will wear their white uniforms. Denver has a three-game winning streak against Detroit, but now the Lions are a way better team compared to the last game between each other. It will definitely be a fun one, as Sean Payton will face his former assistant coach Dan Campbell.

Week 16 vs Patriots:

The Broncos are back at home following a three-week road game span. Denver is wearing their 'Throwback' uniforms and 'Snowcapped' Helmets, on Christmas Eve. An interesting matchup against the longtime AFC rival New England Patriots, as they will both face each other for the first time since 2020.

Week 17 vs Chargers:

The Broncos' last home game of the regular season, their last divisional game at home, against Justin Herbert and the Chargers. Denver will wear their orange uniforms, as they will look to continue their winning streak at home against LA and extend it to five games.

Week 18 at Raiders:

To finish the regular season, the Broncos will wear their white uniforms, on the road against the Las Vegas Raiders. Back-to-back divisional matchups. The Broncos have never won in Las Vegas, and their last win on the road against the Raiders was in 2015, where Peyton Manning was still the Broncos' QB ... can Denver close out the season with a dub, and end their losing streak on the road against the Raiders?
