Here is a guy that the Broncos could get later in the draft and see what they could turn him into. Nothing that Nick Broeker does is going to jump off the page but he is a coachable player who could become an adequate player once his ceiling is reached.

Broeker has a high motor and does not quit on a play. The desire is absolutely there when you watch him play but he is not the most athletic player you will ever see. Where he will really need to be coached up at the next level will be with his hand usage.

He could be a great project for offensive line coach Zach Strief. But do the Broncos have time to develop a project player at guard?

If Risner walks in free agency, other guards on the roster, aside from the other presumed starter Quinn Meinerz, would be Quinn Bailey and Parker Ferguson. Graham Glasgow can obviously play at that spot but the Broncos would be wise to move on from or ask him to take a big pay cut due to his high cap number for the coming season.
