The Denver Broncos' new uniforms have been unveiled, and as you may imagine, some people love them and some people hate them. Let's celebrate the change with a 7-round NFL Mock Draft. Here is the official announcement and reveal from the team.

They also unveiled the much-anticipated throwback uniforms as well, which the fanbase had been clamoring for:

With a new era officially here, the Broncos might surely suit up a rookie QB in these new uniforms, but the question is simply who that will be. There are several arguments for multiple passers in the 2024 NFL Draft, and if you think about it, there isn't a better way to kick off the new uniform era than with a stud rookie quarterback.

Here is a Denver Broncos 7-round mock draft after their controversial uniform reveal.

29th Overall Pick (via DET) - Bo Nix, QB, Oregon

Bo Nix fits what the Denver Broncos do on offense and could start week one over Jarrett Stidham. While I'd personally prefer JJ McCarthy, the Denver Broncos cannot pass up trading down a couple of times for a franchise QB in Nix and also while accumulating additional draft capital.

61st Overall Pick (via DET) - Chris Braswell, EDGE, Alabama

Getting a QB and a pass rusher with the first two picks is an easy win for the Denver Broncos, who were able to trade down with the Detroit Lions and got Chris Braswell. The Broncos need a true game-wrecker off the EDGE and Braswell could be the finishing touches on this unit that features three other young players in Baron Browning, Jonathon Cooper, and Nik Bonitto.

73rd Overall Pick (via DET) - Roman Wilson, WR, Michigan

The team traded Jerry Jeudy and might trade Courtland Sutton. Even if they don't trade Sutton, wide receiver is still a need, and with them now having to deal with Jim Harbaugh coaching the Los Angeles Chargers, that might give them more reason to try and draft one or more of Harbaugh's former players from Michigan. The Chargers also have a huge need at wide receiver, so half of this selection is just them being petty.

76th Overall Pick - Maason Smith, DT, LSU

Maason Smith has experience with Jamar Cain, the Broncos DL coach who coached the DL at LSU for a short time. It's an obvious fit, as Denver needs another starting-caliber player along the defensive line. The team has added a couple of nice depth pieces along the DL, but they have an urgent need for a difference-maker along the inside.

145th Overall Pick - Jared Wiley, TE, TCU

It's hard to envision the Denver Broncos not taking a tight end during the 2024 NFL Draft, as Adam Trautman is not a receiving threat and Greg Dulcich cannot stay healthy. I was a bit confused as to why Denver did not address the unit during free agency, but perhaps the team has a strong desire to address it during the NFL Draft, and this tight end class actually seems quite deep.

147th Overall Pick - Matt Goncalves, OT, Pittsburgh

Both Garett Bolles and Mike McGlinchey will not be in Denver forever, and the last tackle prospect they drafted was Bolles back in 2017. The Denver Broncos are way overdue for bringing in a rookie tackle prospect from the NFL Draft, and OL coach Zach Strief could work with Matt Goncalves behind the scenes until he's ready to perhaps take over a starting role.

203rd Overall Pick - Gabe Hall, DT, Baylor

It's never a bad idea to double-down in the trenches. It's how games in the NFL are won outside of the quarterback situation. Three of the last four picks for the Broncos in this 2024 NFL Mock Draft address the trenches. Sean Payton has also historically put an emphasis on drafting the OL and DL, so this would not at all be a surprise based on his draft history with the New Orleans Saints.

207th Overall Pick - George Holani, RB, Boise State

I expect the Denver Broncos to take a running back at some point during the 2024 NFL Draft, but I'm not sure it's a position that they need to take until later on. The trio of RBs that Denver has is a fine unit that could all take a step forward being in the second year playing in Sean Payton's offense, but heck, Samaje Perine could be cut for cap savings.

249th Overall Pick (via DET) - Austin Reed, QB, Western Kentucky

You can never take too many chances on a QB, and you just never know if someone like Austin Reed could turn into the next Brock Purdy. Heck, Tony Romo went undrafted, and Sean Payton was a huge part in his development back when he was with the Dallas Cowboys. There is genuinely no harm in taking two QBs during the 2024 NFL Draft.

2025 BUF 2nd
2025 MIN 2nd

All of the trading down that the Denver Broncos did was able to net them two second-round picks for the 2025 NFL Draft, so if this were to happen, Denver would pick three times in the second round, which could be insane value. With Denver giving up a ton of capital for the Russell Wilson and Sean Payton trades, recouping some capital for 2025 could be a wise idea for the front office to try and enact.
