Denver Broncos 3 trade ideas with the Los Angeles Rams in 2023

2. Los Angeles Rams trade for Caden Sterns

The Los Angeles Rams projected starting secondary is as follows: Robert Rochell, Jordan Fuller, Russ Yeast, and Cobie Durant.

Who in the heck are these guys?

I'd hate to see the Denver Broncos part with a promising young player like Caden Sterns, but the Rams' secondary might be the worst in the entire NFL, and Sterns is someone who can be deployed in a variety of ways, so he'd be a big help to a unit that'll probably struggle in 2023.

The Broncos have a few other young safeties not named Caden Sterns like PJ Locke, Delarrin Turner-Yell, and JL Skinner, who is a massive human being. Perhaps the Broncos are comfortable dealing from this position if they are confident in one of the young guys being competent.

The Broncos might be able to get a third or fourth-round pick for Sterns, honestly. He's a former Texas Longhorn who has looked very good in his time with the Broncos thus far, which was cut short in 2022 because of injury.

Caden Sterns might also be a long-term fixture for the Los Angeles Rams, and LA might be looking to their future as soon as this season, depending on how it begins.
