Where do the Denver Broncos rank among AFC West pass rush duos heading into the 2023 season? Which team has the best duo at getting pressure?

Randy Gregory & Frank Clark - Denver Broncos

Just like the Los Angeles Chargers' duo, I think the Denver Broncos have a couple of really big names and two guys who really need to step up in 2023. Specifically, this is a big year for Randy Gregory who signed a $70 million deal in free agency last offseason.

Gregory was looking dominant in his first four games with the Broncos just last season, but then suffered an injury and missed most of the year as a result. When he came back late in the season, he didn't look like he was at full strength. But in 2021, when Gregory was healthy, this is a guy who disrupted so many plays and forced a lot of turnovers. When he's on his game, he's very hard to handle.

The same can be said of the Denver Broncos' most recent free agent acquisition, Frank Clark. Clark signed with the Broncos just before the end of OTAs and his presence gives the team another experienced, legit pass rusher who is still getting the job done. Despite not having gaudy sack numbers, Clark had 24 pressures, 13 QB hits, and 5.0 sacks in 15 games last season. He added another 4 QB hits and 2.5 sacks in the playoffs where he's consistently been a clutch performer.

When you combine Frank Clark and Randy Gregory together, I think you've got a slightly better duo than Bosa and Mack when both are at their very best and healthy, even if Bosa is the best out of the bunch individually.
