4. Re-sign Cam Fleming as the swing option

This may not seem like that big of a deal, but with the way the Broncos have struggled with injuries on the offensive line, bringing back a player like Cam Fleming could be hugely important.

Fleming has been much maligned since he came to the Denver Broncos but he actually played pretty well in 2022 at both the right and left tackle positions. Not many players are faring well against Maxx Crosby these days, so Fleming's -- or anyone else's -- struggles there aren't overly notable.

Yes, the Broncos need to figure out a way to get a long-term option at the right tackle position (and left tackle, perhaps). But for the time being, someone like Cam Fleming can provide competent play at a very team-friendly rate. He's not going to break the bank, and you also have to consider the fact that this team is in a very sticky situation with Garett Bolles.

Bolles has one of the highest cap hits on the team. He is coming off of a broken leg. His availability and position on the team going forward are huge question marks. I would barely pencil Bolles in for the Denver Broncos' roster in 2023, but I could be wrong about that. It just feels like this team could be trending toward moving on from him if he's not willing to restructure his contract and help the team free up space to add other players.

If you bring Cam Fleming back, you could release or trade Bolles after the 2023 NFL Draft, provided you were able to bring some help in at the left tackle position. Or maybe you bring back both Fleming and Calvin Anderson as well as drafting someone before letting Bolles go.

Another intriguing option would be to take a one-year shot on someone like Isaiah Wynn, a former first-round pick who could be a worthwhile risk-reward proposition. At any rate, I think a starting five of: Bolles/Fleming, Ben Powers, Connor McGovern, Quinn Meinerz, and Jermaine Eluemunor with the coaching of Zach Strief could take the Denver Broncos' offensive line to an elite level in 2023.

There are plenty of additional combinations, potential signings, and options to explore on top of that.
